"A large tract of land near Greentree has been acquired by the Pittsburgh Wabash Terminal Railway, and the management have decided to construct a classification freight yard, which will be one of the best equipped in the country. The tracks will be built on the declivity plan, permitting the handling of cars from one end of the yards to the other without much use of steam power. Ten tracks will be put down, extending from one end of the 110 acre tract to the other. This will enable the railroad company to handle its large Pittsburgh business promptly."
